HOW
IT WORKS FOR VERIFICATION OF AUTHENTICITY

Linspire products have an exposed, clearly visible 16-CHARACTER
PRODUCT CODE on every package. To verify it,
simply text it to the RAVE number matching your SIM.
The example below uses a demo-purpose short Product
Code "A"

RAVE will check the database for PRODUCT CODE "A",
and also if it has not been registered before. Products
sold by our dealers will of course fall under this catagory.
RAVE will reply
Product
code A is valid. This is a Genuine Linspire 5-license
pack for PERSONAL use. You may buy this product.
If
it is not found (and you can try this using a non-existent
Product Code "D" by texting LINSPIREVERIFY
D)
Invalid
product code D. Please recheck and try again. If error
persists, report to Linspire at (02)8938909.
If
found but already been registered, you might not be
holding a genuine product. Try this demo-purpose Product
Code "C" that is already "Registered"
by texting LINSPIREVERIFY
C
CAUTION:This
CD might not be genuine. C has already been registered
on 20060502. Please report to Linspire at (02)8938909.
HOW
IT WORKS FOR REGISTRATION
Registration
has a longer format than verification. For help,
send LINSPIRE and you will
get the message format.

Linspire products have an exposed, clearly visible 16-CHARACTER
PRODUCT CODE on every package, and a hidden
32-CHARACTER PRODUCT KEY that you can see
after you peel off the label. To register,
LINSPIREREGISTER

mailingaddress
and
send to your corresponding RAVE number.

Otherwise,
it will give a different message.
Aside
from Business Name (if you bought ACADEMIC/NGO, or MSME,
or CORPORATE License) or your full name (if you bought
a Personal/Family License), the License type and quantity
will also appear on the LICENSE CERTIFICATE.
